She is the author of HerStory, a compilation of stories shared by women who give their testimony of trials and triumph. She founded D'Ashley's House, a nonprofit organization that helps to rebuild, restore, and renew women in her community. She also owns and manages The Lesure Agency, an independent insurance agency that educates to change the insurance habits of people in her community. She enjoys great friends and good wine but the one thing she loves most is being the best wife and mommy to her kids.
